BABYWEARING SAFETY
There are only two main safety rules for babywearing:
#1: Don't drop your baby!
#2: Protect your baby's airway.
All of our safety guidelines flow from these two concerns, which we have organized into the ABCs: Airway, Body Position, and Comfort.

A IS FOR AIRWAY
Keep baby's airway open by keeping baby's chin off chest and face fully exposed. Hold baby upright and high on the body so baby is close enough to kiss. Turn sleepy or sleeping babies inward to face the wearer. Wait to use hip, back, and front facing out positions until baby is almost sitting.

B IS FOR BODY POSITION
Cradle the natural curve of baby's spine, and give newborns carrier support to the top of the neck; babies need support to the base of the neck. Keep baby snug to prevent slumping. Ideally, the carrier should support baby knee-to-knee with baby's knees held higher than their bottom.

C IS FOR COMFORT
Cradle the natural curve of baby's spine, and give newborns carrier support to the top of the neck; babies need support to the base of the neck. Keep baby snug to prevent slumping. Ideally, the carrier should support baby knee-to-knee with baby's knees held higher than their bottom.
